San Marino was incorporated in 1913 to protect residents' personal rights and to control the City's growth and activities so residents are guaranteed an exceptional place to live with assurance that property values are protected by stringent zoning regulations and design guidelines. With the help of our friendly and dedicated staff, City Council works diligently to maintain those principles and preserve San Marino's finest qualities, while exercising strong fiscal responsibility.
